Job Description:
 
The primary focus of this candidate is relevant to responsibilities normally performed by an intermediate level database engineer on Truist Database Engineering team. 
 
The DBA under minimal direction, will be responsible for the integration, installation, testing and configuration for one or more of Truist Database systems. 
 
These solutions are currently hosted using a blend of industry leading products, applications and technologies with a skills concentration in Oracle. 
 
Under minimal guidance, this individual contributes to developing new solutions, documents requirements, designs the physical data storage layer, implements and confirms appropriate backup and recovery protections are in place, performs maintenance, manages necessary security access, and assures that Truist security guidelines are followed
