Location: Philly, PA/Phoenix, AZ/Dallas, TX
 
Duration: 6 months
 
Job Description:
 
Seeking an accomplished business-systems & data analyst/architect with extensive hands on experience in the credit cards issuer platform space, specifically with FDR/TSYS
 
Strong hands on experience with industry platforms (FDR/Fiserv preferred, else TSYS) and associated sub-systems in the credit card issuer/bank landscape covering origination, card embossing, servicing, rewards & loyalty as well as transaction processing
Deep understanding of FDR/TSYS credit card issuance, account setup, maintenance, authorization parameters and risk rules, statements, disputes & customer communications
Good working knowledge in Credit Cards industry regulations and compliance requirements as they related to core platform configurations & data – PCI, FCRA, SCRA etc.
Hands on experience in integrating home grown platforms with FDR/TSYS through batch and real time integration
Strong experience having mapped common data files and system parameter settings in the core FDR/TSYS platform

Technical skills:
 
Knowledge & working experience with FDR core platform and associated subsystems – PCF, PCS, ALP, TLP, IDP and DQ
Experience with 3270/Green screen transactions (both monetary and non monetary) to configure the platform
Deep understanding of data elements in FDR Data files such as the ESMR, Master file, Flap file, Monetary transaction details file, Falcon Fraud file etc.
Good understanding of FDR ODS/MON/NON MON real time integration including parameters and syntax of key ODS calls
MS Office suite, MS Visio
Functional/other skills:
Extensive Credit Cards domain knowledge
Vendor interface skills
Downstream system integration experience
Data mapping skills
Attention to detail
Consultative approach to problem solving and cost-benefit analysis
Experience in Agile methodology
 
Role Requirements:
 
Act as a liaison between business lines & technical teams
Function as the in house SME on the credit cards platform – capabilities, data, parameters & integration
Dissect high level business requirements to application & data component based design specifications
Understand system, application , batch, real time & data dependencies
Evaluate design and solution alternatives with cost benefit analysis
Support teams in detailed data & requirements specifications, use cases, data mapping documentation
Drive research & resolution of credit cards platform systems & process gaps, defects, new requirements and enhancements
Understand the end state use/consumption goals for data to help define data extraction, transformation and rule mapping as well as ensuring data lineage/traceability
Collaborate with testing and user acceptance teams to help develop and review test plans, test cases and also support validation of test execution
Support critical production releases as required
