Project Manager - Local to TX Only

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 12 Months

 

We're looking for an excellent PM to manage a couple of projects under DMI (data modernization initiative).

·      Monitors and manages project quality to ensure project deliverables are acceptable and fulfill the terms of the project contract or specifications.

·      Compiles and distributes project information, status reports, and project budget expenditures for portfolio of projects.

·      Works with business users to define project requirements

·      Creates documentation to capture requirements and address changes in original project.

·      Determines the optimal resource mix for the portfolio delivery, and schedules activities to achieve the organization's goals.

·      Participates in different phases and activities of the systems development lifecycle such as requirements analysis, high-level design, code review, quality assurance testing, implementation, and maintenance.

·      Participates in continuous process improvement activities that support other sections within ISS.

·      Uses an Agile systems development methodology to develop product and system specifications and deliver a quality product to end user in a timely manner. Utilizes various methods to prioritize projects.

·      The project manager will be required to comply with the THECB project management process, which includes ensuring deliverables meet defined project requirements. • The Project Manager will be required to comply with THECB data security policy.

Required

8+ years Project Management in IT Environment, Effective written and verbal Communication, Experience with Microsoft Office Products, Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis

5+ years Ability to clarify, structure and prioritize project requirements, Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Preferred

2+ years Azure DevOps PM experience
