Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Data Warehouse Developer
The PL/SQL Developer will be responsible for a development role in an Oracle
data warehouse system which includes Oracle PL/SQL programming & Stored
procedure, performance tuning of large data loads scripts and query
optimization. The developer should have extensive hands on experience in
Oracle Data Warehouse and Data Marts system and data modeling.
Job Requirements:
. Strong experience in PL/SQL and database development in 10g/11g and an
expert-level knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL programming, including advanced
techniques in Oracle 10g/11g including Analytical Functions
. Extensive experience in DB Triggers, Functions, Packages, Stored
Procedures, Views in Data warehouse and Datamart system
. Experience working with high volume databases with partitioned data,
performance and tuning experience is required.
. Must be very strong in data modeling techniques including dimensional
(OLAP, DW) modeling.
. Performance tuning/ Oracle development skills - Performance assessment,
SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions and transactions analysis,
thorough understanding of indices and statistics for multi-terabyte
databases.
. Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts, including
and not limited to: star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes, dimensional
modeling and reporting tools (e.g. Cognos a plus)
. Experience working with and within cross functional Development, QA, Test
and Functional Teams.
. Excellent analytical skills, the ability to integrate information from
multiple sources to execute effectively and efficiently in a dynamic
environment and pursue a proactive approach to problem solving. . Strong
exposure in migrating databases and data conversion requirements.
. Database design - must have experience with logical and physical database
design.
. Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities

Education and/or Relevant Experience:
· Extensive experience in Oracle 10g/11g PL/SQL development
· 7+ years of data warehousing and business intelligence experience
· Experience in Performance tuning of multi-terabyte data warehouse
solutions in Oracle environments.
· BS in CS or MIS required or related experience.
· Familiarity with Web-based application development, framework object
development experience and J2EE platform development
· Experience with TIBCO Data Exchange ETL a plus · Oracle DBA certifications
a plus.
