PROJECT MANAGER Infrastructure
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 11 Months
Interview Type – In-Person (Only Locals)
Description: Project Manager to support the Infrastructure team. Requires strong fundamental project management skills (communication, coordination, planning, oversight, issue and risk management) and in-depth Infrastructure Project Management experience. Must have strong facilitation/moderator, problem solving, and motivation skills. Requires experience with structured project management methodologies (PMI, etc.). Demonstrated experience coordinating large projects with impacts across multiple areas of IT and Line of Business. Must be a self-starter with ability to take direction and work independently while also working in a team environment. Experience managing projects within two or more IT infrastructure environments is essential.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Ability to manage large (10,000+ hours) projects
· Manages all project communication and reporting
· Coordinates efforts across multiple IT and Line of Business organizations
· Establishes and maintains project schedules and reports progress against the schedules
· Manages all project issues and risks
· Facilitates project meetings and associated logistics (scheduling, agendas, minutes, action items)
· Assigns tasks and performs follow-up with project team members
· Facilitates the review and approval of all project deliverables
· Leverages functional knowledge of the banking industry to expedite the decision making process
Additional Requirements:
In depth experience managing multiple-simultaneous projects within an infrastructure technology environment Infrastructure PM Expertise
extensive Senior Project Manager experience executing infrastructure projects in two or more areas of expertise including, but not limited to:
Distributed Server Environments (VMWare ESX, AIX, Zlinux, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Desktop Environment (Novell, Active Directory, Software Distribution Tools, Linux, Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Network Environment (Networking Implementation, Firewalls, Internet Presence, Quality of Service, Load Balancer, Wireless, Payment Card Industry (PCI))
Monitoring Tools
Database/Middleware Environments (SQL, Oracle, Websphere & Websphere MQ, WESB, SalesForce.com, Datastage, DB2)
Storage Environment (IBM Tape, EMC Disk, Brocade Switches)
