We do have an immediate req for Sql developer (SSIS) with Insurance domain experience at NYC
Rate : $45/hr to $47/hr
Location : NYC
Duration : 6 Months+
Still have SSIS need in NYC . . . all prior candidates are out. Need new
ones. Must have insurance experience.
We have a new 3-month position for a NYC-based SSIS contractor.
Job Summary: The candidate will be part of a team integrating a policy
administration system into a Corporate Data Warehouse and General Ledger
using the company's current ETL framework written in SSIS.
Job Duties . Develop SSIS packages
. Complete Source to Target Mapping Documents
. Work with business and vendor to understand and write requirements
. Participate in peer code reviews and adhere to best practice
development methodologies
Job Requirements: . University Degree or Diploma in Computer
Science or related field.
. Minimum 7 years ETL experience, real world experience with SSIS
. Minimum 7 years experience with SQL server
. Extensive knowledge and experience using concepts including but not
limited to
o Stored Procedures/TSQL
o Query Performance Tuning
o Data Warehousing & OLAP
. Practical experience with P&C Insurance/Reinsurance and
multi-currency accounting applications
. Knowledge of Lloyds market, Sun Systems or Ceded Reinsurance systems
a plus
. Ability to analyze and write business and technical specifications
. Possess a systematic, disciplined and analytical; approach to
problem solving
. Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative and work with
little supervision
