Job Title: SQL Server Data Analyst

Duration: 8+ Months

Location: Detroit, MI

Need only OPT's/EAD's/GC/Citizens ONLY!!!

Need 2 references along with submittal, preferably US Citizens references.....

Data Analysis experience

Very strong SQL and/or T-SQL and/or PL/SQL programming skills

Oracle is very helpful

Datawarehouse experience is very helpful

 

Role Description:

 
The ideal candidate is both a seasoned data analyst with a track record recognizing trends and data patterns, and a strong developer on the platform (Oracle - materialized views, partitioning, dimensional model; SQL Server - OLAP, ER model; SQL).  A viable candidate might well be an Oracle / SQL Systems Analyst / Programmer.  SA's generally have experience gathering requirements from secondary sources (the system itself and the data) and documenting them appropriately.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

 
5+ years experience as data analyst / developer using Oracle and SQL Serve

3+ years experience with, and understanding of, data warehousing methodologies

5+ years experience developing complex SQL queries.  VERY STRONG SQL required

3+ years experience in tuning Oracle/SQL Server queries/processes and performance management tools

3+ years experience in Oracle/SQL Server database programming using Partitioning, Materialized View and OLAP

Previous project experience with at least 3 large, preferably multi-year, data warehousing project

Strong business and communication skills

 

Preferred:
 

Knowledge of Health Care Insurance Payer Data Warehousing preferred.

Previous experience working as a Production Support role for Informatica highly preferred.
