Position Open For Windows Administrator in Boston, MA

Windows Administrator

Location: Boston, MA

Rtae:$55 per/hr on c2c(all inclusive)

Duration: 6+ months
IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST AFTER A SUCCESSFUL TELEPHONIC ROUND!!!! 

 

 

• Experience deploying, maintaining, supporting and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems (2000, 2003, 2008).
• Experience in proactive Monitoring, trending, and base lining abilities for Windows systems using tools such as:
  • HP Openview, IBM Director, Windows Server Update Services and Symantec Antivirus server
• Experience with setting, managing and troubleshooting IBM and HP hardware including blade technology.
• Active Directory and DNS knowledge.
• Microsoft Clustering experience.
• Experience with Analysis Tools/Commands:
  • Ping, nslookup, netstat, tcpview, netmon, perfmon, Msbaseline analyzer, etherreal, tcpdump.
• Advanced Webserver Deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting:
  • IIS, load balancing, SSL, file replication, caching.
• Citrix
• System Security/Network Security knowledge:
  • IPSec, ISS, server hardening.
• Networking concepts:
  • TCPIP, VLANs, Subnets, OSI models.

• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communications skills (verbal & written).

 

Working knowledge and experience with:

 

• Enterprise Class Storage:
  • EMC Symmetrix, CLARiiON, and NAS devices.
• Networker (Legato) backup client.

• Database (SQL, Oracle).
