Role: SQL DBA

Location: Dallas, TX.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Interview: F2F is required

 

Job Description:

 

Supports the database environments. Develop logical data model through such tools as ER/Win and ER Studio. Derive physical database design from logical data model. Management and configuration of database and application security through SQL Server and Saxon mechanisms.

Create and enforce database development and administrative standards.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, experience and certification.

Proven experience n the administration and operations of Database systems (SQL Server). 7-10 years of SQL Server administration experience.

Experience with OLAP and OLTP environments.

Experience with Oracle, Sybase, Informix or DB2. Extensive understanding of computer inter-networking concepts (drives, servers, networking, cabling, interfaces, modems). Project management skills
