GENERAL INFORMATION:
Job Description: Summary: The FIS BeB (Business eBanking) team is looking for an enthusiastic UI developer to join their team! This position will be working on Web, Mobile and Tablet UI for our web based product in the banking industry. This position will work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develops and up-dates own development plan regularly.
• Documents and communicates activities and deliverables of project plan.
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge of one or several applications development methodologies.
• Plays a major role in evaluating and selecting applications development methodologies for a product or application.
• Evaluates tradeoffs of development method options in meeting both business and technical requirements.
• Demonstrates knowledge impact of delivery methodology on existing system.
• Coordinates all aspects of production turnover with other organizational units for major projects.
• Evaluates tradeoffs of development method options in meeting both business and technical requirements.
• Interprets client functional requirements and translates into major components of a site.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
