Position: SOA Technical Architect

Location: OR

Position Type: Full-Time/CTH or Contract

 

NOTE: 3 Months Contract position available at Orlando, FL

 

 

 

We are currently looking for customer focused delivery consultants who have a desire to engage in the next generation of SOA and B2B integration projects. The candidate will be an integral member of our SOA consulting division, striving for complete customer satisfaction.


RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the full development life-cycle from requirements through release to production  
2. Create and utilize patterns and frameworks as part of an overall software architecture blueprint
3. Mentor others through project lifecycle on both technology and process
4. Participate and lead business and technical meetings
5. Provide timely status updates to project leadership
6. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology
7. Produce and present architectural and development guidelines and best practices


REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Well versed in Enterprise Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), utilizing J2EE and/or .NET  

     Architectures
2. SOA 11g technical skills - Experience with Web Service, ESB and OSB products (Oracle SOA Suite,

    Weblogic server, EBS and other adapters, Building composite using BPEL, fault management,

    business rules, queuing, human tasks etc.)
3. Experience using BAM for real time monitoring
4.  Knowledge of XML Gateway, Integration repository and E-Commerce Gateway (1-2 years)
5. Knowledgeable on WS-* standards such as WS-Addressing, WS-Security, WS-I Basic Profile, WS-I

    Basic Security Profile etc.
6. Fluency in Web Services standards and technologies (e.g., XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, etc.)
7. Knowledge of various integration design patterns
8. A minimum of 7 years hands-on experience with the entire software development lifecycle

   (requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing)
9. Knowledge of Oracle E-Business suite preferably modules Shipping, Receivables and Order

    Management.
10. Preferred – knowledge of Oracle B2B Integration 11g – Trading partner setups, translations to EDI

      and other industry standards
11. Preferred – experience with BPEL 10g
12. Best practices recommendations for architecting SOA 11g solution, fault management, instance

      archiving and purging strategies
13. Preferred – knowledge of industry standards for e-commerce – provide recommendations on most

      commonly used industry standards for industry-related document exchange – e.g.  xCBL, OAGIS,

     ebXML, RosettaNet etc.


DESIRED SKILLS
1. Hands-on experience in building out Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) is desired
2. Working experience in AIA 2.4 and higher is highly desired
3. Working experience with Oracle BPM suite is desired
4. Hands-on experience in a BPEL product is desired, candidates with Oracle BPEL Process manager or

    Oracle SOA Suite experience are highly desired
5. Hands-on experience with Oracle Service Buss (OSB) and Oracle Fusion Middleware on 11g is highly

    desired.
6. Strategic business process analysis skills and Architectural modeling necessary.
7. Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
8. Experience with presenting to large audiences and to executives

1. Communicates clearly and effectively with customers, team members and IT Convergence

     Management

2. Provide input in the development of tools and processes to help increase team productivity
3. Builds confidence and trust with customers
4. Displays effective analytical skills
5. Effectively manages scope and customer expectations on individual assignments
6. Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of customer issues
7. Seeks innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to customers

OTHER
1. Work on all phases of a project - development, testing, production support, etc.
2. Provide quality formal and informal documentation consistent with documentation standards
