Description
Summary: Responsible for assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable the Customer's success.
Education/Experience: Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent). Progressively responsible IT job-related experiences.
Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software and current development processes and tools.
Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications. Major Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.
Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure.
Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.
1) A minimum of 2 years experience in COBOL Programming: DB2, Batch & On-Line programming, subprograms, Copylibs, DB2 Stored Procedures, and Changeman
2) Mainframe batch processing using JCL and JCL Procs
3) Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
4) Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
5) Ability to understand complex problems
6) Experience in payables (or finance).
