Microsoft Architect
Duration:- 24 Months
Location:- Albany, NY
Rate:- $76.91 per hour on c2c (MAX)
Please note that our client does allow Skype/remote interviews. However they reserve the right to require an in-person interview.
Required:
Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP, DNS, TS Licensing, Proxy, SQL, Failover Clustering

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Design, implement & monitor technology solutions.
Monitor the health of physical and virtual server infrastructure and operating systems.
Responsible for capacity planning and optimization of our growing virtual server environment.
Mitigate issues and provide assistance with Microsoft products such as operating systems, Active Directory, Hyper V, Thread Management Gateway, WSUS, SCOM, SharePoint, BizTalk, Forefront Identity Manager, SQL, Server Clustering Service.
Review and respond to trouble tickets.
Work with vendors to resolve issues as needed.
Responsible for Forefront Identity Manager activities and scripts.
Candidates should have experience, and at least one of the following should apply:
Certifications:
MCSA, MCSE, or MCSM
MCSA, MCSE, or MCSM
Experience in architecting and maintaining technology solutions for a large (200+ servers, 2000+ clients) Microsoft server environment
Experience in large scale Microsoft Technology deployments supporting all of the following: Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP, DNS, TS Licensing, Proxy, SQL, Failover Clustering.
Experience with design, configuration & monitoring of Microsoft Hyper V
Experience with design, configuration & monitoring of Microsoft Server Cluster Service (MSCS)
Experience with Forefront Identity Manager processes, activities and scripting.
Experience using software such as Microsoft Visio to produce technical documentation
