Senior Technical Business Analyst for Non-Case Systems -(Government Experience Is Required) 
Duration:1+ years
Rate: DOE 
Location:Annapolis, MD

Education:
BA or BS in Computer Science or related field 

Skills & Abilities:
Be able to develop, enhance, maintain and support many of mission critical business applications throughout JIS, such as Marriage, Notary, Foster Care, MW506 and Papervision  programs.
Be involved in the ongoing framework projects and development of evolving architectural standards.
Be qualified and experienced in the systems and projects identified or in similar business functions.

 
Specifically:
Able to make improvements to several specialty programs and reporting in the Courts as needed. Provide customer support and stabilize the existing programs and systems used in the courts. Determine and enact a plan for an interim replacement of the existing systems pending the finalization of long term plans for an integrated revenue collection and local accounting solution.
Provide programming expertise, as desired, to complete mandatory modifications to the existing programs / systems and to develop / implement interim replacement strategies.
Provide on-site support for end users in the rollout effort for new applications produced from any interim applications.

 
Project Tasks:
Perform data collection and analysis of current environment. Provide production support assistance
Perform analysis of programs and systems developed internally within the Circuit Courts to determine replacement requirements in accordance with enterprise migration plans.
Assist in projects aimed at replacement of programs and systems developed internally within the Circuit Courts as needed.
Develop effective new programs in accordance with approved SDLC requirements and consistent with technical and architectural standards and guidelines employed within Judicial Information Systems,
Develop and document backup and recovery strategies and coordinate with the Disaster Recovery Coordinator,
Adhere to all Security policies and standards while developing the application,

 
Deliverable s:
Documentation of internally developed Court programs and systems.
Documentation of associated processes and procedures to effectively execute internally developed Court programs and systems.
Effective support of production use of the internally developed Circuit Court programs and systems as evidenced via support logs and confirmation from Court users.
Effective mentoring and turnover of support for the internally developed Circuit Court programs and systems to JIS staff as requested.
Effective development and documentation of interim replacement programs as needed. Integrate new technology as it becomes available and is pertinent to the projects Application support to correct any and all malfunctions within the
