Duration -  6 – 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Job Description –

The Systems Engineer job position will oversee IT Lab functions as required for project build out and use case testing. Administration, management and maintenance of computer network systems. The individual is accountable for the following systems:

Must have STRONG working knowledge of the following:

Network:  Network trouble-shooting, TCPIP, Multi-Protocol networks, L1 –L7, Experience with performance monitoring Running patch cables, Ethernet/Fiber.  Have some knowledge of Cisco Switches – MDS 9148s  San Fabric switches, Cisco 5K and Nexus 7K switches, VMware NSX, Checkpoint, Blue Coat, iXIA LAN/WAN simulator.  Internet Proxy and security. Firewalls and security appliances.
