SAP Basis Lead
Location: Minneapolis, MN OR Denver, CO
Duration: 12 months
SAP Basis LEAD This position is responsible for the management of all areas of SAP Basis; SAP architecture, reporting to management of performance, and upgrades; correction and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling, Early watch and Go-live checks, OSS note research and application, SAPGUI deployment, resolve tickets with the Help Desk, application server load balancing, printer troubleshooting and spool administration, daily system checks (CCMS), disaster recovery testing, and performance tuning.
Basic qualifications/requirements:
· Functional/technical proficiency with at least 4-5 full lifecycle SAP implementations and 10+ years of industry and/or consulting experience.
· At least 10 years of SAP experience in Basis/Netweaver technologies.
· At least 10 years of experience in managing enterprise environments. Must have experience both installing and maintaining SAP systems.
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical or financial field is required
· Must have 5 years of experience demonstrating leadership with people either directly (direct reports) or indirectly (project teams).
· Must have significant experience in ECC 6.0 or greater, SAP BW, PI, and Enterprise Portal. This should include leadership of technical installations in this area. Must have managed a few major system upgrades.
· Works cross functionally with other technology groups to support the SAP landscape.
· Support the creation of the strategy and roadmap of SAP application architecture and maintain the technology architecture roadmap providing on-going design strategy for future enhancements based on current architecture. Develop and maintain SAP technical processes and procedures manual for client.
· Work with development teams in support of application performance tuning and troubleshooting.
· Monitor the SAP landscape to ensure the system is performing as expected.
· Coordinate external access requirements in support of interfaces.
· Effective verbal and written communication with peers and all levels of management a must.
