This is one of our direct client requirement

 

We are currently seeking a Sr. Data Integration Engineer in our Operations group.   This engineer should have significant experience in developing enterprise data integration solutions.

 

The Senior Data Integration Engineer is responsible for successfully analyzing client specifications and generating EDI based on their specifications.   This position also entails using an ETL tool to automate the EDI generation process.

 

Required Skills:

-          Strong experience in software development using Java (5+ years)

-          Candidate should also have the flexibility to adapt as the project evolves.  Must be self-motivated and a team player

-          CSV, XML/XSD/XSLT (2+ years)

-          Ability to produce and consume JSON RESTful Web services (1+ years)

-          Database experience (MySQL, Postgres) (3+ years)

-          GIT/GitHub (1+ years)

-          Demonstrated ability to analyze technical information and requirements to design and develop robust data integration solutions

-          Technical experience in development using building and consuming REST based endpoints

 

Preferred Skills:

-          Health Insurance business knowledge

-          Data Warehouse concepts and administration

-          Experience working with ETL tools like Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle) is highly preferred

-          Experience with Amazon Web Services

-          Knowledge and experience of Unix based scripting and various tools for automation

-          Chef/Puppet for automation

-          EDI 834 Benefit Enrollment and Maintenance knowledge
