Job Title – Teradata DBA

Location –San Jose, CA
Duration – 6+ Months

Rate – DOE

 

 

Job Description –

Good understanding of Teradata architecture & experience in Teradata Administrative utilities & DSA.

Experience with Teradata Viewpoint 15 & TD 14.10/15

5+ years of experience in System Performance tuning, TASM Settings and capacity planning

5+ years of experience in SQL tuning and performance optimization techniques including but not limited to Indexing strategies

7+ years of Teradata experience working as a Platform/Performance DBA

Ability to understand and generate reports from DBQL/resusage

Good understanding of Teradata Database System Control settings(DBS Control)

Experience in shell scripting using korn shell/perl scripting.
