Position : Database Developer
Location : Aurora, IL
Duration : 6+ Months

 

Only local candidates as in person interview is required.

 

Temporary Software Engineer

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY:
Primarily responsible for Database Engineering utilizing C programming. 

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Data base expertise required (Preferably MYSQL or MariaDB language API to MYSQL.)
DB Connection pooling
Server configuration experience in a resource constrained environment
Analysis of DB layout and queries
Understanding of Embedded Systems
Knowledge of cross-compilers.
Understands limits and capabilities of embedded systems
Understands embedded software tools.
Working knowledge of Multi-threaded programming required.
Preferably pthread programming environment
Knowledge on inter-process communications methods
Working knowledge of Linux software development environment highly preferred
Can use bash command line, Linux desktop environment
Understands use of gcc compiler, makefiles

 

EDUCATION:
B.S. in computer science and 8-10+ years of experience as a SW engineer
