We are currently seeking a SQL Development Specialist to provide design databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, performance and optimization support for the various financial applications. The successful candidate must have active hands-on experience developing and optimizing T-SQL\SQL Server.

 

Responsibilities Include: 

·         Hands on T-SQL development. Stored procedure, function.

·         Identify and analyze code performance issues and suggest resolutions.

·         Expert in reading query execution plan and recommend optimization.

·         Review SQL code and recommend optimizations while enforcing best practices.

·         Properly document results of review and performance analysis and provide feedback to necessary teams.

·         Serve as a SQL and optimization specialist to Development and QA teams.

·         Become best practices and optimization expert in various facets of SQL development and application deployment

·         Participate on special initiatives and teams when required.

·         Collaborate with developers and DBA's on database design.

 

We're looking for: 

·         8+ years of relevant work experience demonstrating a high level of knowledge of SQL, preferably T-SQL, proven optimization skills.

·         Expert in MS SQL 2012/2014, SSMS(SQL Server Management Studio).

·         Must have the ability to collaborate with developers and work with minimal supervision.

·         Must have experience and high proficiency in SQL scripting\queries and coding best practice.

·         Must show strong analytical skills and have the ability to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

·         Outstanding interpersonal skills (both oral & written) and the ability to work closely with various technical teams of all skill levels (must be an effective communicator).

·         Prior knowledge of financial domain will be added benefit.​
