Job Title: SAP Data Services (BODS) Technical Developer

Remote

SAP Data Services – ETL and Data Integrator

·        Experience with BODS, SAP Data Services design, development and implementation experience

·        Candidate MUST HAVE Hands-on Technical Expertise in ETL, Data Integration, Transformations/Mapping using SAP Data Services.

·        Candidate MUST HAVE experience in doing complex and custom Transformations/Mapping in SAP Data Services

·        Candidate MUST HAVE basic understanding of XML, DTD, Web Services (SOAP/REST) & HTTPS.  Datastore and other setup for Web Services data stores in Data Services.

·        Strong ETL knowledge with Real Time jobs, batch jobs, scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting and alerting.

·        Developer should be versatile and able to pick up other areas related to BODS.

·        Experience doing real-time and batch Integration with SAP Data Services

·        Work closely with ABAP developers on design, testing, troubleshooting and implementation of enhancements.

·        Process oriented and understanding of software development & ETL best practices.

·        Knowledge and understanding of inner workings of any one Middleware tool will be a plus

·        Knowledge or experience in SAP HANA will be a plus (Understanding of SLT, data flows, data analysis using SQL & process flows)

·        Desirable to have experience in performing data-quality tasks (e.g. Master Data projects), such as standardizing, cleansing, merging, de-duping, determining survivorship rules, and harmonization

Required experience:

• 6+ years' experience in SAP Data Services, SAP ETL using BODS (Data Extract, Data Profiling, de-duplication) 

·        3+ years' experience in Data Integration work using SAP Data Services

·        Good communication skills. Should be able to interact with business & IT teams.

·        Optional: Experience in SAP HANA, SLT's will be a plus
