Job Title: Sr Automation QA

Type: Contract – 12+ months

Job Location: Simi Valley, CA

Note: We will require work authorization copy with resume for submittal.

Position Overview:

Our client is currently looking for Sr Automation QA to be a part of one of their rapidly growing teams.

Required Skills :

- UFT/QTP
- VB Scripting (will need to conduct a scripting exercise as part of the interview process)
- Windows application/service testing (this position will not be web/mobile testing focused)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute automated testing and unit testing on thick client, web-based, and mobile platforms
• Manage the use of high quality reusable automated test frameworks and modules
• Deliver high quality products on time in Agile environment
• Complete individual tasks within an Agile team, using the ability to manage multiple priorities and generate innovative problem-solving solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S in Computer Science.  Master's degree a Plus
• 8+ years of Software Testing Development & QA experience in TFS or GIT environment 
• Experience with automation experience building maintainable automation frameworks (e.g. UFT/QTP)
• Experience documenting defects, reproduction steps, and producing technical documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Experience in areas listed below is a plus

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
• TFS, Microsoft Test Manager
• Testing hardware devices (controllers, IO modules, etc.)
