Description:

Position: Engineer, EITSS Network Security Team EITSS Network Security Team Overview The EITSS Network Security Team is focused on designing, implementing, operating and maintaining the Client network security infrastructure. This team is responsible for the hardware to provide access for Client's external clients and enable the proper protection of Client's network and devices in our infrastructure.

What is expected of you for success in your role:

• Requires working knowledge of network hardware, software, LAN/WAN connectivity, and voice environment architecture. • Adheres to standards and long-term strategy for network connectivity based on organization need. • Works with vendors on product selections to maintain or enhance voice communications environment. • Uses subject matter/functional expertise, influence and process skills to help internal/external customers and stakeholders identify and meet their high priority needs while considering cultural and diversity implications. • Jointly develops practical implementation plans that consider cultural sensitivities with other accountable parties. • Encourages informed Risk-taking and acts as a catalyst for innovation at Client; generates practical, sustainable and creative options to solve problems and create business opportunities, while maximizing existing resources. • Proactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices; • Performs assessments and listens to internal/external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise. • Create and maintain network documentation. • Ability to work on multiple large highly visible projects simultaneously. • Ensure network designs are implemented correctly and are being maintained in appropriate fashion. • Develop methodology for documenting and reporting results of all lab related testing. • Provide 3rd level support for entire network infrastructure. • Assist in the Development of Data Communications Network Strategy. 

Qualifications • Minimum 3 years' experience with network architecture and engineering - including complex network design, hands-on implementation/configuration of LAN/WAN networking devices and operational support. • Working knowledge / experience with following technologies: o Cisco ASA (VPN, NAT) o Palo Alto Firewalls o Algosec o F5 o Cisco Ironport o Bluecoat Packet Shaper o Aruba Clearpass • Appropriate security certifications encouraged but not required, including CISSP, CCNP, CCSP, F5 System Engineer or equivalent. • Hands on experience with installing and troubleshooting Cisco Network Infrastructure, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, and other security technologies • Working knowledge of configuration of Cisco routers, switches, • Working knowledge of F5 Big IP, LTM, GTM and ASM. • Working knowledge of OSPF, BGP and ACLs. • Working knowledge of VPNs. • Ability to manage and coordinate projects • Good written and oral communication skills, • Self-motivated and desire to succeed • Ability to travel as needed • Provides upgrades and optimization of various network security devices • Understand client's infrastructures, their needs and provide expertise and consulting on network security solutions • Analyze log files, performance issues, and the production environment for mission critical systems • Managing complex trouble tickets to Install, upgrade, and maintain existing network systems and services. Fulfill firewall change requests. • Creating and maintaining up to date documentation. • Provide 3rd level of support for enterprise network/security infrastructure. • On-call responsibilities as assigned.
