Job Description - Performance Test Lead: CORE COMPETENCIES . Test Planning Test Strategy . Test Management . Requirements Analysis . Script Development . Test Execution . Server Monitoring . Java Programming . Server Stats Analysis . Report Preparation . Client Interaction . Team Management TECHNICAL EXPERTISE Experienced in using the following tools/languages . LoadRunner . JMeter . HP Performance Center . App Dynamics
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES . Provide test strategy/plan for performance testing projects . Kick start a performance testing project . Establish a process for performance testing (agile environment) . Should Involve in Requirements gathering and if required the POC for performance testing the application . Identify the deliverables and the required templates needed . Design the performance workload model . Strategy to design critical scenarios . Identify the scripting templates . Establish execution process and monitor the execution . Suggest solutions to various performance testing problems . Study SRS, BRD for various releases and come up with the performance affecting scenarios . Monitor the server-side metrics (Windows / UNIX / Linux / Web / Database) . Gather and analyze results for any performance bottlenecks . Analyze GC logs, DB reports and various other logs . Experience of performance testing and tuning micro-services / APIs running on Cloud based PaaS platforms, either on premise or within a managed service (eg. AWS) . Experience of Pivotal Cloud Foundry PaaS platform and/or MuleSoft framework, along with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline is desirable . Engaging the necessary stake holders (Development/DevOps/Infrastructure teams) and establish a dialogue . Establishing a communication plan . Identify the escalation hierarchy
