Location: Boston area, MA (Need locals only)
Duration: Long-term
Rate: $55/Hr
Education and Experience Level
1. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a major in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
2. Thorough knowledge of tools and processes used in the Software Development Lifecycle Process.
3. Proven record of accomplishment working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and with cross-functional teams.
4. 7+ years of experience as a full stack ASP.NET using VB and C#.
5. 7+ years of experience hands-on knowledge of SQL Server
6. 5+ years JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g. Angular JS)
7. Knowledge in OO development principles, multi-tier web application design and relational database principles
8. 5+ years working with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
9. Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
10. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
11. Excellent written/verbal communication & documentation skills.
12. Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards would be a plus.
13. Experience with cloud solutions/technologies, specifically AWS is also a plus.
14. Ability to adjust to changing situations to address emergencies, program changes, or production requirements.
15. Ability to exercise sound judgment and use discretion in handling confidential information.
