Job Description:
Looking for 2 Qlikview Developers for a 6 month contract or 3 month contract-to-hire in Orlando, FL. This candidate must have 3+ years of experience with the Qlikview and Qliksense tools. They must also have strong Visualization experience. They will partner with a team of Business Analysts who will then gather the requirements from the business owners. The Qlikview candidate have to come up with the business solutions themselves. They will be collaborating heavily with the Business Analysts and Director. They have to create the design of it. They need to do the visualization. This candidate will also be working with the Data Governance team. They will be working with a lot of internal teams.
SAMPLE FOCUS AREAS
Care Navigation
This QlikView consultant will be helping augment staff for the "Care Navigation" project. The purpose of this project is to explore ways to offer care to the patients once they have left the hospital. Once they leave the hospital AHS still wanted to offer patients care management. The QlikView consultant will merge different data sources from post acute, urgent care and physician offices. They will then partner with the Big Data Infrastructure team to get data and pull into QlikView and Alteryx.
Care Transformation
They are trying to remove the variation of treatment for different patients What they are noticing is as they go by different service lines and different conditions of the patients, there is a lot of variation that exists. There is a whole initiative and this is probably the biggest initiative for AHS over the next few years. This is where the team will be taking the lead to identify the opportunity and looking at where it exists. Then identifying the best practices for the different conditioned patients. They will be using analytics for that. They will be needing a lot of visualization, which will be done by the Qlikview team. They will need to pull in a lot of Data and make sense of it from the EDW which would be the Alteryx team. Looking at the best practices and looking at the data based evidence will be the Data Scientists.
Additional Information:
The QlikView Developer will mainly be responsible for guiding and supporting team members with development of visualizations and data models. Working in conjunction with B.I. Solutions Analysts on the ETL process to complete the lifecycle of a project. Proactively build relationships with stakeholders and project sponsors to better educate self about the healthcare industry. In addition, continually maintain working knowledge of the toolsets used by the Corporate Analytics Team.
Qualifications
What you will be responsible for:
• Create QlikView applications from enterprise data warehouse
• Create QlikView data models and interactive visualizations
• Create static reports using QlikView NPrinting tool
• Take ownership of projects assigned and support other developers with tasks to complete
• Assist team members with project sponsors and ensuring timely deliverables
• Build the ETL automation process for QlikView applications with the help of the B.I. Solutions Administrator
• Design and configure the QlikView applications front-end calculations (i.e. set analysis, aggregations, etc.) as per business requirements
• Responsible for interpreting business needs of stakeholders and develop analytical solutions
• Coordinate with other developers on the team to build and share knowledge, ensuring consistent delivery of information
• Collaborate with application analysts and report/dashboard end users to analyze, provides specifications, and document projects in SharePoint
• Document and tests work products and conducts data quality checks on a regular basis
• Work in partnership with the Data Warehouse team and other stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes
• Be familiar with diverse data collection, ETL, and database technologies
• Adhere to corporate standards and best practices
• Analyzes the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new application and enhancements to existing applications; ensures the application fits the needs of users
Knowledge And Skills Required
What you will need:
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• QlikView Design and Developer experience
• Highly competent in BI tools like QlikView, OBIEE, Alteryx, or Business Objects to provide business intelligence solutions and reports to provide simple and rapid access to KPIs
• Experience working with any BI tool (QlikView, Tableau, Dundas, OBIEE, etc.)
• Intermediate working knowledge of SQL and ETL automations
• MS Excel and/or Access (i.e. VBA) expertise
• Troubleshoot scripting logic when issues arise
• Working with clinical healthcare data
• Working knowledge of clinical processes and terminology
• Experience with Clinical Analytics, Medical Informatics and/or Quality Measures
• Self-motivated, independent and goal-oriented, a fast learner with good communication skills.
Knowledge And Skills Preferred
• Script in SQL/PL SQL SELECT
• CMS Programs and Initiatives
• Cerner experience
Education And Experience Required
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar fields (i.e. Health Information Informatics Management)
• Good experience in development, testing and implementation of reports and dashboards (QlikView or any BI report & dashboard tool)
• 1-2 years of experience in Healthcare IT
