C# .NET Developer with Trading System experience

Responsibilities
Searching for a C# .NET Trading System Developer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier financial clients in New York, NY.
The candidate will be involved across sales & trading applications, working directly with the Equity Derivatives stakeholders to progress the BAU book of work. Furthermore, there are opportunities to work towards migrating the existing sales and trading applications for structured products towards the globally aligned technology platform. Structured Products are a key revenue driver for the division. The business model strongly relies on technology, but the existing infrastructure is in need of upgrades and very fragmented across regions. The key objective of this effort is to drive operating efficiencies by migrating capabilities such as product customization and price discovery or STP booking (straight-through-processing) and automated documents generation.
Responsibilities:
Design and Development of in-house software application solutions
Working within an Agile team environment incrementally improving software quality
Excellent Problem Solving and occasionally providing occasional 2nd-level technical support
Strong background in Application Development Tooling
n time, play an active role in defining and improving the departmental Development and Support processes
Required Skills:
.NET C# experience 8 years+
HTTP Restful web services via JSON
Strong understanding and exposure to object-oriented practices and principles
Experience with unit testing, mocking frameworks and continuous integration in the context of TDD
Experience in tooling like TeamCity, SVN, JIRA etc.
Experience in web development: HTML5, CSS, JS frameworks (Angular or React)
Understanding of financial products, especially equities or equity derivatives would be beneficial (Front Office and Trade Management)
