Job Description:

Looking for 8 years of Sharepoint Administrator

Provides Microsoft SharePoint administrator support for a large customer within the DoD community.

Administrator will be tasked with assisting in the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint architectures

Perform SharePoint farm upgrade from old to new

Experience and knowledge with SharePoint Online administration

Experience administering Windows Servers, Active Directory including ADFS, DNS, SMTP, Network Load Balancing, Windows Firewall, Event Viewer Performance Monitoring and PowerShell scripting

Experience configuring and maintaining SharePoint Enterprise search, index configurations, and scheduling

Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server in a SharePoint environment

In-depth knowledge and experience administering and managing Microsoft SharePoint enterprise environments

Plans for and install service packs, hotfixes, updates and patches during off-peak time as required and communicate any downtime to business

Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss

Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data
