Job Description:
• Mandatory Skills o SQL o Dataware Housing o Snowflake o ETL o Ability to Navigate Deployment Patterns for SQL w/o much support
• Desired skills o Willingness to engage w/ upstream technical partners and legacy DW team to validate o QA / Validation mindset – can act independently to triangulate correctness of data from legacy systems and insight into Snowflake env
o Gap filler – if additional data clean-up / exposure of foundation is required, will dig in and figure out how to execute Strong SQL knowledge (query performance, tuning etc.) as well as understanding of database structure Knowledge of data modeling principles Knowledge of atleast one ETL tool (SSIS, Informatica, Talend etc.) Knowledge of various SQL/NoSQL data storage mechanisms, preferable ony columnar database like Snowflake, dbt, Greenplum Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Passionate about complete data structures and problem solving Ability to pick up new data tools ad concepts quickly Knowledge and experience in a data warehouse environment with knowledge of data architecture patterns Prepares and/or directs the creation of system test plans, test criteria, and test data Determines system design and prepares work estimates for development or changes for multiple work efforts
