Role: Azure Cloud Security Engineer

Locations: Oak Brook, IL (Onsite)

Duration: 12 + Months.

 

Responsibilities

 

•                     Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits

•                     Upgrade our network and infrastructure systems

•                     Implement and maintain security controls

•                     Monitoring the latest threats in cybersecurity to remain up to date on the best protective strategies

•                     Conducting regular audits to pinpoint weaknesses in the cybersecurity posture

•                     Identify and solve potential and actual security problems

•                     Assess the current situation, evaluating trends and anticipating security requirements

•                     Keep users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status

•                     Maintain quality service by following organization standards

•                     Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops

•                     Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

 

 

 

Requirements and skills

 

•                     Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or similar role

•                     Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data and other attack artifacts (Splunk)

•                     Proficiency with vulnerability scanning solutions (Nessus)

•                     Proficiency with antivirus and security software (Defender)

•                     Should be aware of cloud security tools, Conditional access policies, Zscaler (ZIA), End Point Protection, BitLocker, SandBoxing, Expert in Azure Security, remediation of risks and threats from end users' devices, Email Security (TESSIAN), ProofPoint

 

•                     Experienced with O365 Threat analysis

•                     Overview of Network Security devices

•                     Identity Management and RBAC

•                     Experienced in handling 0 day vulnerability and patch management.
