Position: FIX Onboarding/Certification Specialist

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 3-6 Months

 

Job Description:

 

- As a FIX Onboarding/Certification Specialist, candidate will be expected to quickly learn the business, systems and onboarding processes in place.
- Candidate must manage client expectations, coordinate and execute test plans, track projects and deliver in a timely and efficient manner to the customer's satisfaction.
- As part of that process, candidate will be expected to support and troubleshoot connectivity issues, manage and execute certification testing and resolve order routing issues.

 

Primary Responsibilities:
- Focus on client onboarding process within Futures and Options group.
- Support certification and UAT environments.
- Liase with clients, vendors and various IT support groups, globally.
- Provide 2nd level production support as needed.

 

Required Skills:
- FIX 4.2 protocol.
- CertiFIX, VeriFIX.
- Unix (vi), Windows 2003.
- Appia, Cameron.
- Strong communication skills.

 

Desired Skills:
- Futures experience – order entry and market data.
- Orc, Object Trading.
- FIX 4.4.
