ROLE: Oracle DBA

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 3 months

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 - Experience in upgrading and configuring of an Oracle 11g database server on a HP UX platform from Oracle 9i version

- Deep understanding of databases, the upgrade process and feature set of oracle 11g, preferably in a data warehousing environment

 - Experience performing all functions of an Oracle DBA which include: server installation / configuration, performance tuning, data import techniques, field level encryption, transact SQL, and extensive experience with all database objects (stored procedures, UDFs).

 - The resource should have demonstrated capability to manage offshore resources

 - Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
