Description:

- Serve as a subject matter expert by answering internal/external questions related to the performance of the HAMP. 
- Work on data quality initiatives, which involves interacting with various departments, determining data quality issues, recommending solutions, and working to implement these solutions. 
- Complete ad hoc data query requests, using SQL and Business Objects, as required. Perform appropriate quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of the data provided. Also, log ad hoc in tracking database, storing relevant data and code. 
- Interact with the Reporting unit to provide guidance on common requests which may require the creation of standard canned reports need to be created for.

Skills:

- B.S. degree in Math, Business or Economics, MBA preferred. 
- 5 or more years of progressive experience in financial analysis and the secondary mortgage market. 
- Ability to analyze trends and compare current and prior situations to create new solutions. 
- Understanding of database tables and familiarity with mortgage loan data. 
- Knowledge of SQL programming and Business Objects to extract data for analysis. SAS experience a plus. 
- Very good interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment to achieve individual objectives and organizational results. 
- Flexibility to work additional hours on an as needed basis to meet deadlines 
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity. 
- High attention to detail and data quality experience
- Knowledge of requirement tools, such as Rational Requisite Pro
- 5 years of related requirements/analysis experience
