Our client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer/ Remedy Developer/ Java Developer for a long term (6 - 12Months+)

 

Role: Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer/ Remedy Developer/ Java Developer

Houston/Austin-TX, San Jose-CA, Lexington-MA.

Rate : $Negotiable

Duration :  6 months

Requirement 01: Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer (Automation, Manual)

Requirement 02: Remedy Developer

Requirement 03: Java Developer

 

Details :

 

1.         Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer (Automation, Manual)

a.         The QA Engineer will be working in an agile software development environment.

b.         Test Automation experience specially with custom build frameworks using C# or Java.

c.         Experience and Exposure to working with multiple platforms (OS and Database) including Solaris, Windows, Linux, HP, AIX, Oracle, SQL, DB2, Informix etc

d.         Experience of working in highly technical projects.

 

2.         Remedy Developer

e.         Strong Remedy skills - building and customizing applications, not just configuring and installing remedy products

f.          5+ years of experience with Remedy AR System especially version 7.0 and above.

g.         Should also have experience with Remedy ITSM 7.0 products like Incident Management, Change Management and Asset Management and CMDB.

h.         Any experience with web technologies like HTML, Java Script, AJAX, Java etc. is desirable

 

3.         Java Developer

i.          Relevant experience with major OO programming languages required (JDK 1.5/1.6 experience is a must)

j.          Good Experience with J2EE (EJB/JDBC 3.0, JTA, …) - Adobe LCDS would be plus.

k.         Knowledge of XML and Web Services (UDDI, SOAP, …)

l.          Knowledge of Development tools such as Source control tools as well as IDEs (Perforce, Eclipse would be a +), Knowledge of build tools (Ant)

m.        Good experience of Application servers (Tomcat required, JBoss and Websphere highly desired)

n.         Some knowledge of Design patterns and Knowledge of coding standards

o.         Some knowledge of GUI/Rich client applications development.

p.         Test tools (unit testing, like JUnit, as well as integration and regression testing)

q.         Knowledge of Databases (ODBC/JDBC, SQL, …)
