Job Title : Linux Admin
Location: Manhattan,NYC
Duration: 6 months +
 
This is a senior Linux systems administrator position responsible for providing Level 2/3 support (operations and engineering). Besides core Linux system administration, the responsibility includes administration of JBOSS and Weblogic platform. The position involves off-hour and weekend rotation support.

Desired Skills:
5+ years of hands on experience with Redhat Linux at a corporate enterprise level (RHEL 4.x and 5.x)
Knowledge and experience with JBOSS and Weblogic administration.
Knowledge of deploying RH Cluster, GFS and Oracle DB on LINUX is essential
Expertise in Veritas Storage Foundation
Strong knowledge of x86 hardware installation and maintenance
Configuring SAN storage
Shell scripting
Following are plus:
AIX, Solaris and VMware skills
High availability and Disaster Recovery experience
Oracle DataGuard
Managing Storage Arrays
