Looking for IP Network Engineer in TX for 1 year contract

I am currently looking for IP Network Engineer  for a high profile client.

 

Position: IP Network Engineer

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 1 year

 

Experienced IP Networking Engineer for IP RAN Network Configuration (Scripting) and Optimization Projects.

 

We are seeking a candidate that has 7+ years of professional experience with IP Networking, including hands-on experience in providing network support (troubleshooting), scripting, configuration and system audits

 

Solid experience with configuration & support of edge routers, aggregation routers and switches from leading vendors Need to be proficient in scripting

 

- Perl, shell and good experience with C++, Wire Shark and capability to modify configurations according to established templates & script procedures

 

In-depth understanding and troubleshooting experience in layers 1-3 including Traffic Separation, QoS, Security & IP Addressing aspects

 

Familiarity with Ericsson RAN configuration & interfaces is a plus Certifications from Cisco, Juniper such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS-M are preferred.

 

The consultant would be located in Plano, TX, and should be flexible for travel inside the US for customer meetings and short-term investigations.
