Job: Storage Analyst/ Engineer
Location: Livingston, NJ (Local is strongly preferred)

Duration: 6Months

Must have both EMC and NetApp experience.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Symmetrix storage system management including hardware configuration, software configuration, performance monitoring and reporting.

2. CLARiiON storage system management including hardware configuration, software configuration, performance monitoring and reporting.

3. SAN management including switch configuration, zoning, performance monitoring and reporting for Cisco, McData and Brocade equipment.

4. Windows, UNIX, Linux and VMware storage – provisioning and host configuration.

5. Storage software installation and configuration.

6. Data replication (SRDF, Sancopy, Snapmirror) – provisioning, hardware and software configuration and monitoring.

7. Support Disaster Recovery from a data replication and host perspective.

8. NetApp storage system management (NAS and Block) including hardware configuration, software configuration, replication, performance monitoring and reporting.

9. Centera storage system management including hardware configuration, software configuration, performance monitoring and reporting.

 

Requirements:

1. Project management

2. In depth knowledge of all storage hardware/software components – arrays, SAN and replication hardware.

3. Strong organizational skills

4. Strong written and communication skills

5. Strong customer focus

6. Strong analytical skills

7. Ability to work independently and prioritize among multiple demands for service

8. Detail oriented

9. PC – knowledge: Word, Excel, Project, Visio
