Location: New York City, NY

Citrix - Senior Architect / Engineering / Operations Manager
- 6+ years of experience managing 150+ Citrix server environment in a capital markets / financial services environment.
- Extremely knowledgeable and highly proficient in architecting and engineering best practices, implementation and support of Citrix XenApp and related technologies.
- Real world knowledge of fundamental and advanced concepts, best practices, procedures and experience in a global 24/7 Citrix environment.
- Interact with architecture/engineering groups as well as other staff to ensure optimized support.
- Create maintenance and daily pro-active processes and procedures for Operational group to follow.
- Providing documentation and or training to operations and helpdesk staff to resolve Citrix support issues, such as PC settings and Citrix client updates, printing, user account issues, etc.
- Ensure that the contingency infrastructure is in a constant state of readiness to recover applications and resume business in accordance with the published SLA’s.
- Development of integrated end-to-end infrastructure Disaster Recovery test plans.
- Coordinate support of remote sites.
- Review global instances.
- Work towards global standard and seamless interoperability.
- Work with vendors to develop/maintain current standards of performance.
- Work with business clients to evaluate, streamline, and improve current systems, processes, and workflow.
- Develop business case documentation.
- Develop purchase requests and supporting documentation.
- Work with vendors to install new systems.
- Review system performance measurement tools and prepare exception reports for management review.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
- Management of a small consultant team
