Description:
Sr. J2EE Designer/Developer/Architect is competent to work on complex projects and applies an in-depth knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and procedures. The candidate provides technical expertise in design and development of the application components. This technical resource is responsible for the design and development of components of a complex J2EE application, specifically User Interface development (understanding of different UI frameworks such as GWT/Liferay) for a large hotel application hosted at our various datacenters. This position also requires mentoring some of the junior developers on the project
Must-have Skills
1. Must have at least 7 years experience J2EE, including implementing J2EE components, strong object-oriented design and development skills.
2. Previous experience with mentoring Jr. developers or as a team lead
3. Prior hands-on experience using Resin as the application server.
4. Prior hands-on experience using JMS/Active MQ.
5. Must have experience working in a Linux environment.
6. Liferay Portal Software Configuration and performance tuning skills.
7. GWT experience
