Job Title: Sr.QA Test Lead

Duration: 6-18+Months

Location: Los Angeles, CA

 

Interview: In person after technical phone interview.

 

Job Description:

This is long-term contract opportunity for a top-notch Lead Test Engineers to work in an environment of senior developers and engineers on some of the latest enterprise level Java and server application technologies. Please review the requirements below.

Required Skills:

·         Knowledge of JMS or how messaging works.

·         Hands on experience with White box, Grey box, and Black box testing techniques at unit-integration phase.

·         Experience testing web based user interfaces

·         Experience maintaining a set of test data.

·         Basic database SQL skills (DB2 is a plus).

·         Develops and monitors traceability matrix.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.

·         Proficient in investigating and providing bug related data such as log files, screen captures, etc.

·         2+ years test lead experience

·         2+ years Java (ability to start/stop app servers, knowledge of RMI interfaces, knowledge of basic Java concepts like multi-threading), ability to build java applications (Ant, Javac).

·         Proficient creating test plans, test cases and test report. Good understanding of the SDLC.

·         Proficient working on Linux or Unix platform.

·         Experience with web services.

Desired Skills:

·         Experience writing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium or QTP.

·         Any of the following certification: CSTE, CSQA or ISQTB.

·         BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

·         Experience testing X-Windows/Motif and Java Swing based user interfaces

·         Experience with Load, Stress and Performance testing.

·         Familiar with defect and document management tools such as Bugzilla, CVS, Docushare.
