Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 6 Months

Description:

-Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps
-Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality
-Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments Monitor program execution for expected performance
-Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
-Solid experience working with development teams on the deployment of large volume transaction based applications (Java)
-Candidate should exhibit strong coding skills and have experience of recent application development.
-Software code management and Oracle database, 10G, is also a must. Must be able to work well within a team and have excellent oral and written communication skills since this position will be responsible for dealing with business customers in an ongoing basis.
-Individual should have experience working with large volume applications.
-Individual must have solid SQL skills  
-The developer will be communicating with a variety of people, (business, IT technical teams, etc), so they must have very clear communication.
-Individual must also have solid testing skills as they will be responsible for unit testing and system testing and assisting with UAT when required.
-Individual must be able to work well with the team, offering development assistance and asking for development assistance when needed.

-Individual must show initiative and be responsive to team members
-Applications run on UNIX servers
-Telecom/wireless background is helpful
