Details:

Looking for a highly motivated, well rounded MS SQL and MS .net, and business reporting expert.

Technical Duties Include:

Database system performance, capacity, planning and maintenance, and software installations and upgrades; formulate and monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management; ensure functional integrity, application performance and design continuity; and work with Infrastructure team to ensure optimized database environment.  Additionally, the ideal candidate will create stored procedures, ETL processes for Reporting databases; create daily/weekly database maintenance processes to ensure 24x7 uptime and high performance and create and implement a disaster recovery plan for the database servers. The candidate will also be responsible for support and development in .NET. 

Desired skills include in dept MS Excel Functionalities and basic business acumen emphasis on Marketing, Finance, Accounting and Operations.

Qualifications

·         4+ years MS SQL database application development and design experience

·         4+ years MS SQL performance tuning especially query tuning and indexing strategies

·         4+ years maintaining, designing and optimizing SQL server environments

·         Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008

·         Strong knowledge of database design best practices

·         Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with work experience.

·         The ability to work with several groups of data and users simultaneously

·         Act as a source for direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.

·         Ability to provide accurate work estimates and deliver on schedule in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

·         Strong problem solving, innovation and analytical skills

·         Experienced as technical lead

·         SQL Server Analysis, Stored Procedures, Data Modeling, Reporting, SQL Server 2008 Database, Transact-SQL programming

·         ASP.NET

·         C# and VB.Net

·         AJAX

·         JavaScript

·         Experience developing web applications
