QA Manager
Job Purpose: Provide Testing strategy and services for the project development teams working on customer projects
Position Summary: Responsible for all testing related activities for one or more projects for a customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Direct the development of the testing strategy, schedule, data requirements, resource requirements, functional testing scope, regression testing requirements, quality metrics and risk/mitigation plans.
• Monitor performance reports, dashboards and status reports to verify test execution including test and issue tracking, daily meetings, test summaries and test case movement progress according to plan.
• Establish communication plans for project testing issues in a timely manner to the project management teams and the customer, through standard project testing communication tools
• Drive for exceptional test quality on projects while keeping test activities within schedule and scope
• Contribute to the testing process/tools standardization efforts
• Participate in knowledge sharing across the organization
• Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities: Test Architects, Test Managers, Test Analysts
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• At least 7 years experience in Testing areas
• At least 2 year experience in managerial, supervisory, or leadership capacity and working within a matrix-style structure
• Excellent knowledge of industry standards and certification (e.g. ISO9000, CMMi etc.), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & Test Life Cycle
• Expertise in Process Methodologies such as Six Sigma, ISO, ITIL, MSF, TQM/Kaizen, RUP, etc.
• Strong Expert understanding of requirements management, release management, environment management, change management, configuration management
• Expertise in test planning, test execution, defect detection and test results reporting
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Should be able to guide & mentor testers

Job Purpose: Design and lead the overall QA program for a specific project or engagement while also performing key QA tasks such as test script development and execution, defect tracking, test coordination, and test environment verification.
Position Summary: Leads verification and validation activities across all phases of the software development life cycle to ensure that the software product conforms to the requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Perform Test Estimation, Test Planning, Implementation and Monitoring Quality Assurance activities in the project
• Validate (test execution, defect detection and test results reporting) that the software performs according to requirements
• Review and audit products and process artifacts to ensure adequate level of quality
• Collect metrics, analyze defect trends, conduct root cause analysis by working with project teams
• Identify Quality Assurance related risks & mitigation plans and assist project leaders in solving QA issues
• Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities: QA Analyst, Software Tester
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a college or university

8+ years experience in analysis, design, and implementation of application systems.
Currently client runs these applications on iSeries (Clubs) and AIX (HO Intranet) platforms, utilizing WebSphere Application Server.
The AIX DB is Oracle and the iSeries DB is DB2.
Client is planning to migrate the Club Systems (iSeries) to a Linux (Red Hat) platform, running the apps on Apache Tomcat Server and MySQL for the backend.
Resource must have knowledge of project life cycle methodology, and well as strong communication and project coordination skills. ALDON Tool knowledge important.
