Position:QA Consultant

Location:Burlington,MA

Duration:6+months

 

Main Responsibilities includes:

- Hands-on experience in design automation testing framework based on Selenium.

- Understanding product requirements and creating detailed tests to establish good quality and Definition of Done criteria.

- Work with Product Management and other engineers to conceive features, use cases and designs

- Agile process driven testing

- Participates in understanding requirements, design, implementation and testing.

 

Qualifications:

Candidate must have:

- BS/MS or equivalent degree in Software Engineering or similar field is required.

- Solid understanding and 4+ years of experience with Selenium, Ant/Maven, JUnit/TestNG

- At least one year experience in JAVA development

- Experience in testing Cross Web Browser and cross platform.

- Hands on experience with tolls like JMeter or equivalent performance and load testing.

- Strong knowledge in Maven.

- String experience in JavaScript, DOM, AJAX.

- Experience with Agile development.

- Appreciation of testing Web Applications on mobile devices.

- Ability to work in team environment and mentor.

- String appreciation of Manual testing and string 2+ years of manual testing experience.

- Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns

- Experience developing and deploying scalable, high-traffic systems

 

Experience in following is a plus:

- Working experience with Hudson or TeamCity.

- Knowledge and experience with Tomcat, JBoss, etc.
