NEW REQUIREMENT/ 2 MAXIMO SYSTEMS ENGINEER/ PITTSBURGH

 

SUMMARY
Maximo Systems Engineer. The Maximo Systems Engineer will support current and ongoing implementations of an enterprise wide asset and work management system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and implementation of Maximo on a variety of platforms
• Assist in data gathering, development, training and rollout of standard and customized Maximo based enterprise asset management features
• Lead functional reviews of current business practices and provide recommendations for improvement based on industry best practices and existing and emerging technologies
• Develop functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
• Document project plans, milestones and initiatives for change control
• Support incoming requests from users to research mobile system problems or errors, and assist with resolution
• Provide stakeholders with progress reports, budgets and schedules

BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Business related field and / or equivalent work experience
• Strong Maximo 7 functional knowledge a must
• Minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in a functional position with the implementation and utilization of fully integrated enterprise asset management system
• Minimum three years, preferred six+ years Maximo experience with at least two years in MXES
• Minimum of two, preferred four+ years experience in mobile technologies including standard and custom applications, application development, and hardware
• Experience with Maximo work management, including the utilization of Assets, Locations, Work Orders, Job Plans and PMs
• Excellent communication skills specifically in driving successful results in team and project based situations
• Working knowledge of work and maintenance management best practices
• Maximo certification preferred
