We are modifying many existing BI reports and building additional in support of a large effort to add new metrics for shopper behavior to product & location metrics.  This role reports to the BI/MicroStrategy Team where we need a strong MicroStrategy Architect to work with our IT team in order to properly position data in the Metadata and Optimization layers to create reports from the provided Report Definition Document or Wireframes. 

 

This position will work with the business on requirements gathering and with the offshore resource(s)MicroStrategy Developer(s) through the development cycle to provide continuity to the project.   

 

Qualifications

·         8 years of overall IT experience

·         B.S. in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent

·         4–6+  years experience with general Business Intelligence concepts

·         4–6+  years experience with MicroStrategy BI Suite

·         4–6+  years experience with Teradata preferred

·         Expertise in T/PL/SQL and database scripting

·         Proficiency in the following MicroStrategy modules: Architect, Desktop, Report Services, OLAP

·         Proficiency in building MicroStrategy projects, reports and dashboards

·         Proficiency in developing MicroStrategy objects, filters, prompts and metrics

·         Proficiency in MicroStrategy Schema and Star Schema configuration

·         MicroStrategy SDK Experience

·         Excellent problem solving and analytic skills

·         MicroStrategy certification preferred
