Position: DB2 DBA Consultant with ready visa
Location: Denver,CO
Duration: 6-12 Months
Job Description:
-Demonstrable experience with:
-Linux DB2 administration
-Logical and physical DB modeling.
-Must be capable of converting a logical model into a physical model
-Writing and maintaining DB2 Stored Procedures
-Creating and maintaining indexes
-Creating and maintaining triggers
-DB performance analysis and tuning, including memory footprint, I/O, processor
-Linux administrator tools
-Database modeling tools, ER Studio preferred
-ORM tools like Hibernate and Ibatis
-Java programming and JDBC s
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple disciplines: architecture, development, operations, product, project management.
-Self-starting
-Ability to independently research problems and come up with solutions
