Job Title Partner Platforms Administrator (SFDC)
Duties The Partner Systems Operations Support team is designed to provide operational support for the Symantec Partner Program, PartnerNet and SFDC website by management and ownership of issues through their lifecycle, including prioritization, investigation and working with other teams to drive towards rapid and satisfactory resolution. The team focuses on the following deliverables:
Second-level support of the PartnerNet and SFDC website , including all current functionality, connecting portals, and SSO/Interface activity.
Management and ownership of issues through their lifecycle.
Management of PartnerNet and SFDC bug fix releases in conjunction with IT sustain team.
Communication with end-users on both day-to-day issue statuses and bug fix releases.
Second-level support of SSO and interface issues around extranet functionality.
Subject Matter Expert (SME), helping to deliver projects on time and to scope.
Job description
Triage of all issues relating to operational support items.
Issue ownership. Working with the IT support team for release control & management Production Release - bug fixes and Post production validation of bug fixes.
Collating and analysis of data relevant to support issues.
Identification of issue trends.
Creation of process documentation.
Supply data for weekly / monthly meeting / SharePoint.
Liaising with internal colleagues in different time zones.
Gathering requirements and information from multiple sources Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Functional Specification Document (FSD) reviews.
Applying knowledge to user acceptance testing for bug fixes and maintenance releases.
Participation in global hour conference calls were applicable or outside normal hours Ability and willingness to travel if required Assist with SFDC Operations: Business operations and administration of the platform.
Set up Users, Partners on SFDC PRM
Troubleshoot issues and support users.
Data analysis and cleanup activities.
Create and maintain SFDC reports.
Data load activities.
Create and maintain public groups.
Skills
Previous relevant work experience working with PRM/CRM portals/web applications Knowledge of and experience with SFDC Platform and Opportunity Registration Module Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Gathering requirements and information from multiple sources.
Managing issues from beginning to end.
Good communication skills Knowledge of the following systems
PRM/CRM Portal
Extensive SFDC Experience and Knowledge
Knowledge of SSOs and Webservices
IT aware
Remedy
Business Objects
Microsoft office, (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
Education BS or Equivalent SFDC Certified (desired)
