Job Title: C#.Net Developer w/ Risk
Location: NYC
Duration: 6+months

This candidate should have a minimum of seven years of experience in the analysis, design, and development of software applications using C# and the .NET platform, MS SQL Server and/or Sybase.
Unix and/or Linux environment is a big plus.
Java and C++ a plus.
Experience in the financial services industry and the risk management side is a requirement.
Risk Metrics experience a big plus.
Candidate needs to have a proven track record working with business users, front office or risk management.
7+ years experience in the financial services industry
BS or Masters in Computer Science or related technical discipline.

Skills Required:
Good problem solving skills.
Financial industry experience focus on the Risk Management side.
Good understanding of financial products.
Ability to work with business users.
Strong C# and .Net experience.
Strong SQL.
Experience with Risk Metrics a big plus.
Good handle on Excel and VBA.
Unix scripting a plus.
Java and C++ knowledge a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and support production.
