Minimum 3 years experience as an Oracle DBA with experience with Oracle versions 10g and 11g.
Experience with the Erwin modeling and DBArtisan DBA tools.
Experience with the IBM AIX and RedHat Linux platforms.
Perform database job scheduling, Unix shell script programming and maintenance.
Oracle ASM experience within a SAN environment.
Versed in performing various types of database migrations using the Oracle Datapump utility.
Working knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery and the RMAN recovery catalogue.
Mandatory adherence to Change Management principles, including Sarbanes-Oxley and Ferc requirements.
Ability to communicate, plan, and coordinate database activities with associated application areas.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of databases.
Experience configuring and using the various OEM Grid Control add on packs.
Perform Oracle DBA application support activities such as database creations, object migrations, and security configurations.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if required.
